Karma Kat

Meow you doin' Athens! We're Karma Kat, a local Athens band & we're so excited to kick off HauntFest! Our group of cool cats create music of multiple genres including indie rock, pop, and jazz! We formed our cozy circle in February 2023 & have been fashioning fun and funky songs ever since! If you'd like to follow us on Instagram we are @KarmaKatMusic. Hope to see your purrfect faces soon!

Beat Up

From Record Plug Magazine-Strident, passionate punk rock for those who dig the fiery vocals of Hüsker Dü, The Jam’s guitar tone, and a healthy dose of state-smashing commentary, courtesy of the leathered lungs of Minneapolis transplant guitarist/vocalist Nathan Flogamocker. Proudly wearing a bleeding heart on its tattered sleeve, Beat Up confronts apathy with conviction and a cache of killer hooks.

Tattoo Logic

Tattoo Logic is a five piece funk punk band from Athens, GA. The band is fronted by leading ladies Mia Hill on keys and Swathi Ramaswamy on bass. Grayson Pynn and Rob Bowden shred some tasty licks on guitar while Will Collins holds down the fort on drums.

Nix the Scientist

Formed in 2019, Nix the Scientist is a progressive rock band consisting of Christian Gerner-Smidt (guitar, vocals), Jack Reed (bass, keys, vocals), and Alex Morrison (drums, vocals). Each member of the trio has more than a decade of stage experience, having performed in groups including ZALE, Venice Overdrive, and alongside figures like Wesley Cook, Moses Mo of Mother’s Finest, and Hannah Thomas.

The While

The While is a progressive-inspired, sometimes jammy, alternative rock band from Athens, GA!

Florence Cardigan

Florence Cardigan (est. 2023) is an unapologetically original musical experience hailing from Athens, Georgia, serving a delicious cocktail of funk, punk, and jazz-inspired indie rock. Members Reed Butler (guitar/lead vocals), Caleb Heiple (bass/vocals), Andrew Wright (lead guitar/vocals) and Drew Serrero (drums/vocals) met through an extended network at the University of Georgia, and continue to hone their crafts in the renowned Athens music scene.

House Guests

House Guests is a high energy indie/alternative rock band based in Athens, GA. Whether they're playing some classic covers or shredding new original songs, their shows are guaranteed to get your heart racing.

First Jason

Celebrity Ari Lehman, the first Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th, will be rocking us to a close with his metal band, First Jason! Make sure to stop by his booth to get a photo and autograph with this horror legend.

A frankenband of some lawyers, a librarian, and a neurosurgeon stitching together a spooky set of rock covers.

Jacket

Formed in late 2023 by cousins and bandmates Kiki and Cannon Phillips along with Polar Waves aka Julio Duran, Jacket is rooted in heavy alternative rock, grunge and punk rock spirit, peppered with gritty downtown Athens, Georgia service industry ruckus.

Hypersleep

Hailing from Athens, GA since 2017, HYPERSLEEP combines the theatrical mood of sci-fi and horror films with a bold mix of doom and thrash metal for a striking, crushing sound that is at once familiar and unexpected. Gordon Lamb of Flagpole calls HYPERSLEEP’s self-titled EP “a wonderful showcase of the band’s flexible interpretation of its genre while still embodying the best of all its worlds.

SWEAR JAR

Formed in 2022, SWEAR JAR is a 90's inspired rock group from Athens, GA. With Emilee Campbell Harden on vocals, Evan Ayers on guitar, Jon Ngo on bass, and Ethan Houseman on drums, SWEAR JAR explores elements of punk, indie, and alternative music to create a fresh and invigorating sonic experience. With the release of their debut EP "What's Your Problem?", the group takes listeners on a journey with heartfelt lyrics and powerful melodies.

Parking Garage

Parking Garage is an outfit of alt rockers based out of Athens, Georgia, working with a zesty mix of funk, garage rock, shoegaze, pop punk, blues, and emo into a blend they refer to as "salt rock." Mixing emotional and heart-on-the-sleeve lyricism with catchy melodies and earwormy hooks alongside influences that range from Car Seat Headrest to The Beatles, the music of Parking Garage is a blend like no other in alternative music.
